The stamping foil (film) is placed between the part and the engraved die.
Heat and pressure transfer the pigment/metallic layer from the carrier to the surface.
Metallic or pigment foils — matte or glossy — are transferred under heat and pressure to apply the desired artwork.
Specifically, it is a type of personalization that can be applied to all surfaces: plastic packaging, glass packaging with flat, round, elliptical shapes.
This type of printing consists of the foil, technical jargon for “foil,” which is sandwiched between the substrate to be printed and the engraving that presses against the foil.
Heat detaches the coloring layer of the foil that goes onto the foil itself.
The films, both matte and glossy, are pressed at high temperatures against the packaging to transfer the desired design or writing onto the substrate to be decorated.
