Steba products
The Steba company offers a wide range of products for customization in a variety of materials and shapes.
In your experience in the cosmetic container business, what is the most popular Steba product?
There is no real Steba product because we deal with the whole scope of cosmetic packaging.
As anticipated, we mainly deal with packaging. But we also support the customer with consulting and the various customization services we can perform.
Customers contact us because they are looking for something specific or product, a cosmetic container, that can best reflect their idea.
But from this first contact starts a process of confrontation and dialogue that can lead to the realization of a whole different product.
In fact, I don’t think the customer identifies Steba with any specific product.
He comes to us because we offer a wide range of products by giving advice and customization: we are a mediator between the various partners of excellence in production and the final customer with his specific requirements.

The pack and customization services
Cosmetic packaging consulting: a client contacts you with a specific request but then you are the one to guide and lead them according to the requirements they have.
Exactly, we get in touch with the customer who is looking for Steba or whom we meet at events such as trade fairs.
Both in Italy and abroad there are many beautiful and interesting realities
Have you ever been contacted from abroad?
We also make supplies of cosmetic containers to overseas customers.
In addition, in recent years we have chosen to invest in advanced technology for our warehouse to optimize and ensure speed and accuracy to all orders.

The difference is that Steba moves on foreign only if they contact us.
So far we have not yet gone in search of the foreign customer, but who knows…
Steba is always busy on new future projects.
Now we like to work alongside small businesses especially from Italy and grow step by step with them.
Helping a client grow and leading them to expand their market to handle larger quantities is a great challenge.
As an example, in Italy we have many small entities such as pharmacies with galenic laboratories for the production of creams or pills. There is a large demand for new containers in this small market.
Cosmetic containers: collaboration with designers
Does Steba also collaborate with designers or creatives for cosmetic packaging?
Sure. This kind of collaboration is also a good test for us.
Designers design a product idea that maybe you can’t make for the material you thought of.
There are “stakes” to designers’ ideas as well as clients’ ideas for which realization is difficult.
I like to be honest in both personal and professional spheres, especially so as not to waste anyone’s time.
So it is important to confront each other precisely to find a solution between ideas and actual realization.
We know that the last collaboration with two designers was “successful”…
Our packaging-the Steba airless bottle-was used by designers and sisters Karine and Sophie Coccellato.
They won the2019 Haward Cosmétiquemag with Archiman, a men’s care product
Specifically, the award was won for most beautiful design andsustainable innovation.
We are very proud because innovation and sustainability are the biggest challenges of the future and also represent Steba’s company commitment.

Finally, you have been participating in Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna for many years now.
What does Steba’s presence at the leading fair for the beauty and aesthetics industry entail?
Be there!
Cosmoprof is the leading trade show in the cosmetics industry and is a time to connect and compare notes.
We stay up-to-date with industry trends, engage with competitors’ ideas, and connect with new customers.
It can be considered “ground zero” for new working relationships.
Plus Steba always enjoys designing creative ideas to convey its philosophy.
Like this year, we wanted to make a green stop corner with recycled products that could intrigue people.
